About Me

I am a husband and father of three young energetic boys.
I was born and raised in Toronto and moved to Ottawa to attend college. I didn’t complete high school and upon completing college, was told I could not get credit because of that. Getting a job as a software developer without education was difficult, but I managed to start my career writing arcade games for the Atari ST and IBM PCs.

I continued as a developer and software integrator with a large project to deploy email and directory solutions to connect all the stores and HQ of Wal-mart. From there I was hired into Nortel to improve their enterprise email system by reducing the message delivery from 2-4 hours to under 10s. I achieved it and then some by getting 20 messages / second while the average message size increased 1000% due to a migration to Exchange during the same time. Despite the 100+ support personel for the Exchange system, the servers I maintained to handle all internet traffic was fully automated, and self-diagnosing so that only one or two of us had to maintain it.

It was with those past experiences that I discovered a real passion for solving problems for others and always finding ways to exceed expectations. My career really took off and I was getting offers to different companies on my reputation alone.

Birth of  Your Child Changes Everything!

Once my first son was born I found myself torn between work and being home with my family. After the dot-com bust, a trend of working long hours to deliver on unreasonable deadlines regardless of quality began to show. I was burning out. I couldn’t afford to burn out because I was the single income earner for my wife and children. The more I tried the worse it got; I was caught in a vicious circle, constantly worried if I could keep it up to support my family.

Through out my adult life I kept trying differnet home businesses. I tried MLM programs such as NSA, Matol, Quorum, Quixtar, Nikken, and Trivita (to name a few) but I just couldn’t seem to make them work. I did the home meetings, the company seminars (which were more like rah rah sessions), and watched and listened to my sponsors, but nothing seemed to work and I was embarrassed trying to ‘convince’ people to join my business. In the end I lost more than I made, including the respect of my family and friends. They stop listening when I mention yet another business.

After some time and searching, I discovered some great resources on the Internet along with mentors who were and are very helpful and actually interested in my success and not the money I might generate from them.  They all taught me the mindset necessary to succeed online as well as the strategies and various step by step methodologies to implement those strategies.  Every day I absorbed their insights and understandings.

I am now living the life of my dreams.  I’m working from home, during the hours I’m at my best.  I can walk my kids to school and pick them up as well as attend their school activities.  And in this industry, you get what you want by helping others get what they want first and that is a very satisfying line of work, if you can actually call it work!
